Start at the Police Station. New characters only have Patrol Police. Traffic Police unlocks at 800 XP. Undercover Police is a 349 Robux gamepass. SEK is a 799 Robux gamepass.

Who you can arrest
Only players with a wanted level of 1 to 5 stars can be arrested. The stars sit above their character. Higher stars pay more: 10 XP at 1 star, 15 at 2, 20 at 3, 25 at 4, and 30 at 5, both for the cuff and for the prison booking. Arriving on an incident pays 20 XP. Confiscating leftover robbery items pays 3 XP.
The arrest
- Read the radio. Reports can include a username, avatar, vehicle, plate, or the caller.
- Set the waypoint. Use the Police phone app if you need crime history, vehicle colour, or a security camera. Cameras can be shot out by criminals.
- Equip Handcuffs and use the prompt. A Taser helps a runner. Stop Sticks punish a car and pay 5 XP.
- Choose Detain so they walk slowly, or Release if the cuff was wrong.
- Follow the prison waypoint. You have 5 minutes. After that the detained player respawns at the dealership and the arrest fails.
- Another criminal can Lockpick the cuffs, on foot or in a car, until the booking is done.
Undercover nametags look civilian to non-police. Other officers can still identify you. SEK is the branch with the M4, the sniper at 1,000 XP, and 50% armour. Traffic is the branch that gets Cones at 200 XP, and its cars cost 1,000 extra XP compared with the same model on other branches. Undercover and SEK variants of a car have 5 more horsepower.
At 4 stars the Police Helicopter starts tracking the nearest suspect and creates a Helicopter Pursuit incident. See the robbery guide for how suspects lose stars.
